Don't know where it's at yet. But Deputy Martlor is on the case.

Oh man....my eyes are peeled

I’m also in discussion about one in Indiana. High miles but appears to be really clean

Alright guys get your critiquing glasses on. Here’s the latest possibility it’s about 8 hours from home out in Indiana. He said he was in Wisconsin with it just this spring and made the trip fine

Headliner is sagging
Needs two new tires (would just buy 4)
Blower motor comes on only after “wiggling” wires around
It was rust “proofed” when purchased by a company there but he’s unsure of the complete process
Says it has a 4” lift but he’s unsure what kind just knows it was done professionally.
275k miles
Asking 1500

Not bad except for high miles and the hit to the left front bumper. Can't really tell much about what it looks like underneath. Interior looks OK but could use a shampoo.

A friend of mine locally purchased a '97 for $1500 with that kind of mileage about 2 months ago. It was very clean and virtually rust free, but this one has better paint from what I can tell. What year is this one?

Did he purchase the lift? Or was it on when he bought it? If he bought it, how coukd he not know the brand haha? Or if it was on when he bought it, how does he really know it was professionally done? Sorry I'm just really curious hahah

Yeah me too but I don’t know the answer to that lol I’ll try to figure it out

Lift was there when he got it so the “was done professionally” is the word of the previous owner

He’s trying to contact the guy he got it from to find out about the lift

Dig deeper into your questions to the seller. How long has he had it? Whatvis he selling? I say this because if he still has the dudes number that he bought it from, it sounds like 1) he bought it and it broke quick and he can't fix it or 2) he's looking for a quick flip for profit and knows nothing about it....1500 seems low of it does in fact run good.

I asked him about how long he had it and he said over a year but he works out of town so maybe he doesn’t have time to enjoy it? I don’t know how to feel about it honestly

Quick question, Found a ‘98 that the seller says has hesitation coming out of first but shifts it to first “on the ground” then back to drive and it’s fine after 30mph. It has some rust spots that would need immediate attention and it’s at the max of my budget but has mods that I would do anyway. Just wondering if anyone knows what route I would have to go down with the trans?

He also says it has codes for a trans sensor and now has one for nss too

Could be a variety of reasons on the trans....I hear most of the issues with these transmissions you have to replace some sensors. Doesn't seem all that bad to fix some issues. Probably depending on the milleage and whenever it was last done could use a fluid flush. Worth looking into and you may even get it cheap enough to source a working trans and drop that in there.

That’s what I was thinking too. Honestly less worried about that and more worried about the rust lol I’ve never really dealt with it before and was really really trying to avoid it
