Hey Guys i built a light bar for my xj, and mounted it to the gutters, but it already is fallin apart!!! I was just wantin to how you guys did it, and how sturdy your stuff was. Thanks.

is you best friend, there are tons of post on mounting light bars and such.

 

First off what type or light bar? by who? falling apart how? pics? I have a Carr bar i just mounted, but without any more info its hard to help.

 

It's a light bar we built and i had it mounted to the gutter butt it just disint want to stay so I took them off. I did some research on here and most people just mount them to their gutters. Any new ideas on how to build on?

 

Check out my thread, just fabbed one up last week, its beyond sturdy, but not pretty because we drilled into the frame of the cab and bolted it on, but id almost guarantee its not goin anywhere, or its taking my xj with it
