You might wanna rethink the tire size to fit a 37 will take a 8.5 inch lift and cutting the fenders.A 4 inch lift will let you run about a 32 or 33 inch tire tops.

wrong

I'm pretty sure he's on 37's on 60/70 and a 4" lift right now. it's not a pre 97 so use your imagination

Those are the tiniest 37's I've ever seen.

Going by his build post they are 36x13.5x15 iroks and he has full width axles which push the wheels outside the fenders so it has some flex to it.

my friend runs 35s on a 3.5" lift and she does have room for bigger tires if she wanted.

its all about bump stopping

oh so it was off by an inch close enough. I know his other description says he has 37's and he's rocked 37's for awhile now
it's done all the time and it's silly for someone to say that you need an 8.5" lift to fit huge tires

OP go click through some of the builds on naxja.org you're not going to see much of this low cog goodness here on CF
I'm just not sure what to make of this comment. I really hope it's complete sarcasm but I'm afraid he was being serious

hmm I don't think I've seen a 1.5" on 37's specifically. but here are some really good lowcog builds.

thanks, the green one with 1.5 on 37's is what sparked my interest with low cg. i like the white one with 4.5 on 37's that is what i was thinking of going with. my jeep is the same one as the white one to. is there anything i really need to know about doing a low cg build, the only thing ive done as far as lift is replace my stock with 3in RC full pack?

36x13.5 iroks measure 36.8. Same as any other "37" tire. So yes, I call them a 37. They may look small because they are on a 17" rim too. In that pic the front is at about 3-3.5" and the rear 4.5"
Photobucket is having issues but I attached a couple pics from before. They are with 4.5" front springs. (with my winch and bumper sits a little lower) and customer packs in the rear that sat at about 3" of lift. It was a great setup, super stable, felt awesome. But the 30 only lasted 3 trips on them. Hence the swap.

big/huge tires (35+)
lowest lift height possible
lots of low end weight
wide axles
bumpstops
