The u-bolts should be tightened to specification.
The issue with blocks has to do with physics and safety, not paranoia.

The also have a bend to help the angle. And have an oversize bushing.

"Physics" the term, is used mainly used by people who don't wholly understand the application.
"Safety". Usually is made or broken by the installer and/or failure to maintain inspection .
Specifications are around for people like yourself. And its a good thing. Seriously.
This is why after every lift kit installation we tell the customer to check all nuts and bolts after 500 miles and periodically after that.
For my own jeep its up on my rack constantly getting inspected for potential problems. I off road a lot.
You will find that most failures come from loose hardware. More important than a torque specification is maintenance.

found a used 3 inch lift kit full leafs and 3 inch springs and shocks no unbolts or rear brake line extension used on ebay. jeeps are new to be but is the kit worth buying used. not looking for anything crazy i don't hardcore wheel and from what i have looked up this is a good bace for upgrade if i wanna go bigger what u all thing work making a offer on a used kit?

Same goes for full leaf packs. Install them wrong and you will have problems.
