Lift blocks can pop off or shift. Much better ways of lifting.

It depends... 2" blocks won't hurt a thing if your jeep is primarily a daily driver. If it's strictly a trail rig, then I probably would not recommend them if you have larger than 31" tires. Although every once in a while you do hear about blocks breaking, etc, etc, but in the 15 years I have been installing lift kits, SAS's, etc... I have never had an issue with them...i think it's more which type of block you buy and how you install them! I do agree though that there are better ways to lift the rear end. But if you're on a tight budget, then go for it. Just my $.02!

If your gonna go blocks don't buy them from Vatozone or O'Reilly Auto Parrts they are extremely light and probably not a good idea. If you have an Advanced Auto Parts, they have some pretty beefy ones for the same price (31.99).

Edit: They also come with U-Bolts...sorry I forgot to mention that.

I have a mag with a full size Cherokee in it running fairly tall blocks. They rolled one.

I know its a much larger truck, and had much larger tires. But I felt it was worth mentioning.

of you can get a set of cast ones from with u bolts from Rusty's off road for cheaper.

I agree with JKS, there are better ways, the main reason on a cherokee they are frowned upon is that axle wrap is already bad without them and lift blocks makes is much worse
