He is going to have to do something about his gears with tires that big isnt he? I could be wrong but a tire that big is going to be hell on stock gears.

watever u guys say i kno i had 31s before i cut the fenders and flexed out on some mounds of dirt real nice and bent up my passenger fender real bad
my 32s fit perfect after i cut the fenders with BARELY no rubbin when im flexed
if i went 33s i would risk tearin up my tires on my fenders
i would suggest u either go wit a smaller tire or a little higher then 4.5
all these guys must be cut there jeeps up to sh** to have a 3" lift on 33s
if u actually love ur jeep and dont want it to look like a POS like me i wouldnt try it

oh and p.s. u dont need to change ur gears for 33s but a lower ratio would be nice on ur mpg's

I just finished trimming my fenders, REALLY EASY, just need a cut off disc and an angle grinder, but your old flares might not fit back on, depends how much you take off
do you have access to a welder?? because if you do and you're willing to put in some effort you can really expand the rear fenders nicely, that's what i did at least
otherwise just cutting off a little sheet metal should do the trick
and yeah with enough trimming you could even fit 35s like said before

My rear leafs are shot so I was going to get an add a leaf along with all new leaf springs from another place bc I can't find a cheap 4.5 inch lift with all new springs.

I'm a little car dumb and don't think I would knoe what to look for to piece together a lift. I got an 88 so it wouldn't be diffrent but I would end up with missing parts and it would be a mess. So I think a full kit would be best for me. I am going to buy new serperate leaf springs out side the kit

Cut flairs on the bottom of the front two so it won't rub on full lock.4.5 will work with 33's only place where my rub was on the fender flares.Had Cragar Soft 8's too

If I removed the fender flairs, do you think that will give me enough room?
