Dude this is a question with no answer. To many variables to apply. Kinda like asking a doctor how long you are going to live.

My iPhone can post where it wants, when it wants!

Any car can run to 200k if maintained perfectly but that's one of those variables I was talking about. If the first owner of that gc changed the oil every idk let's say 9k then the life of the motor is reduced...
My xj has 389k on it sooooo jeeps can live for ever if you treat em nice

Moved to Cherokee Chat.

Outside of that, a vehicle will last as long as the maintenance you're prepared to put into it. If it's been taken care of (as already described) and you do ALL the maintenance, including preventative maintenance, it should last quite some time.

Unless you have the 4.7L v8. Then you may as well mark it down for the count from the get-go.

There are huge single cylinder engines that power oil wells, they run 24 hours a day 7 days a week and some have done that close to a hundred years. There are small single cylinder engines that wear out after a gallon of fuel. The Jeep is some place in between that.

If your Mustang only lives to 200k you really should take better care of it...

COULD last quite some time, but ANYTHING can break at ANY time. Most vehicles today, with routine maintenance and no catastrophic failures should last 200K and beyond. But it all depends. There is no right or wrong answer to this because you NEVER know when a piece of metal your engine might break.
