The pic of the black Jeep looked PSed to me too. It's not a dig, just an observation.

I like the bumpers, BTW.

This is why its black in one and green in the other.. I painted over the tan that was along the bottom sides of my Jeep and also quarters. Then i put a 2000 model front end on it so i painted it to match along with the bumpers. Also i have a thread on both builds of my front and rear bumper.. No photo shop in none of my pics, only thing my computer has is a half **** photo editer.

Default Here are a few of my bumpers.

The rear I have been working on.
With swingout rear carrier.
It is made of 3" square tube. 3/16" wall.
The mounts also use 3" c-channel, and the bumper uses a spindle hinge from AtoZ fabrication.

Rear bumper mounts with [12] bolts. [8] factory at stock location and [4] 1/2" grade 8's
along the unibody trailer hitch mounts.

Added pull points. Also from AtoZ fabrication.

Latch is a 180 degree cam lock off the back of a wrecker. Spring loaded.

Here is the rear bumper that I already built for my last jeep.

Think I should add the brush guard?

The side plates are over 1/2" thick steel! its heavy.

The bumber was on my 1990 xj. It survived 2 accidents with only a few scratches. The mounts go back 18" on the unibody and act as a power steering box brace. This is made of 3" square 3/16 wall steel tube, and 6" c-channel. It also has 2 tow hooks.

Also built this one. It is 6" c-channel. wraps around. Uses factory 3 bolt mounts though. More for show. and grocery carts.

I also built this rear bumper out of 6" c-channel. I will try to get better pictures.
This bumper was destroyed in a 55mph rear end collision. Jeep drove home from the accident though. The car in front and behind me got the flatbed!

Another picture of the front bumper on the green jeep, and the front bumper thats laying on the ground that survived 2 accidents.

Oh its gonna get some lift, ill probably end up with about 5"s, im gonna 3 link the front and piece the lift together. The boggers are 35"s.

Right now its only a yard ornament. I drive it around like that, only place its rubs is the fire wall when the tires are turned deep. I wouldnt dare take it to the woods like it sits.

I'm not trying to dig on you. I just think that the lighting and shadowing, probably because you used flat black paint and theres no reflection, gives the illusion that suggests the use of photo shopping.

Oh i wasnt taken offense to it. It was a cloudy day, probably the flash and also the paint on the bumper hadnt completely cured yet, it let it dry just enough it was tacky and put it on. One of those anxious times lol.
