Here is the bumper on mine. i wanted something that would take a hit from a deer and not destroy my xj. I think I could ram a car and not hurt my xj. We re-enforced my frame up front.

Haha, yes there is. I was laid up with a f'd up back and my buddies talked me into going wheeling. I tried the climb in front of my Jeep there and tore the straps off my rear dive line. So my buddy is laying under it trying to get it going. We couldn't get the fourth bolt out of the yoke. We plastic bagged and duct taped the T-case output and drove it home in Front wheel drive. The next day I drilled the yokes holes out and installed the u-bolt style straps. Have never had a problem since. Before that I had probably torn the rear straps off 6 or so times. Good eye though....

Here be my front home brewstage....



And the matching rear home brewstage... I left the gap between the bumper and tail lights because im planning on fab'n up some tail light boxes also inwhich will fill that gap...
