Im in the same boat as you. Just do some searching around. You will find spots. Go on google maps. Really easy to find spots on the satellite view!

Then check that they're legal spots.

Best way to find trails is join a local club.

There's about 99% chance that if you haven't heard about it that it's not legal...

Like he said: Find a Club. Email them, call them, meet them. Anything. They can show you were you can wheel.

Here's one in OK.

http://www.trailchasers.com/index2.php

Go to Pioneer Pies on 74th Street at 6pm on May 17th. They'll be having a meeting there. Tell them you want to ride...

They have a butt load of members of all sizes.

It depends on how big the area is. If its just a little play spot that's only an acre or two, then a lot of people don't really know about it.

Here's another one that's really active.

http://www.okjeepthing.com/

This is one of the main problems with owning a Jeep. There's very limited places to wheel. I have to drive 6 hours to get to any really good wheeling spots... It's part of it. You can't just drop off in some mud hole on the side of the road.

How do you know who it's owned by? Just because it doesn't have a "No Trespassing" sign doesn't make it fair game.

Very true. Lots of private property doesn't have signs posted, but that doesn't make it legal to go on it. Any form of illegal wheeling hurts our sport.

Wheel Legally, Wheel Safe, Tread lightly.

If I know that I'm not supposed to be there, I won't be there. And if anyone tells me I'm not alloud to be there, then I won't come back. I just enjoy the trails and have a good time. I'm not in there tearing **** up, or making my own trails. I know how the op feels. It sucks living in an area w/o wheeling that's less than an hour away.

Closest thing I've got is Corolla Beach in the Outer Banks at 2 hours away.
Other than that it's at least a 4 hour drive for anything good.
