Default Leaf Springs

I am looking at new 3" lift leaf springs beacuse my rustys leaf springs sagged pretty much back to stock height in two years. I was looking at Zone Offroad's 3.5" Leaf Springs. Is anybody rolling with those, any issues with them?

I have the Zone ones. Been using them for 3 years and no real sagging. Still equal all the way around.

I've been running Rustys leafs for four yrs. now always heavy load in cargo area and HD rear swing out tire carrier bumper and zero sag. His are the only ones made in NA, not China or a couple made in Australia.

Yours is the first post I have ever read about his springs not being excellent. Something is wrong here.

If memory serves, BDS and Zone springs are made in Canada. Not overseas.

Zone and BDS are the same parent company. Differences are slight reduction in quality and spray vs powder coat paint. It's like a suburban vs a hummer. Both GM products and use similar but slightly different parts with different marketing to suit different markers.

I was long aware of the BDS/Zone affiliation. Zone is a private label brand of BDS.

Well, its not back to stock height, but its significant, I measured it today and it dropped about 1-1.5 in. My friend has Rusty's 4.5 in leafs and his sagged about an inch or so. He ended up putting a YJ helper leaf in them he had laying around and that boosted it back up to 4 in. We both have fairly heavy custom rear bumper/tire carriers so I know that wont help. I think Rusty's leafs are just to soft for our needs.

Never knew that. Good to know because I have heard nothing but good things about BDS.

Searched all areas of there web sites and they do NOT state in any of them where they are made. Only a USA Supplier to local ones if made in Canada I'm sure they would state that as a major trade partner of ours.

I always worry about anything with a "Lifetime Warranty" in auto parts such as these.
