Default Leaf Pack replacement

Alright guys as you can see my leaf springs are looking real sad.

I'm looking to replace them. I've got a 3" lift with coils in the front and apparently the rear was only an AAL so I'm curious as to if I should just swap out the top leaf on my pack which seems to have the most stress, or should I just replace the whole pack. And if I should replace it all what should I go with to match my 3" Rough Country coil lift in the front?

If your cheap you could make a bastard pack using the main xj leaf and the leafs from an s10.
Or you can buy a full leaf pack at your preference.

Wow that looks awful. Did you break the weld nut off inside the frame? I was scared that that was going to happen to me. There are write ups for cutting the bolt and spring perch. Looks like a PITA.

Nope thats just rot from the rough winter we had and all the damn salt. P.O. never washed the under carriage I'm guessing.
I haven't been able to look in there. Its not looking like much fun. Im trying to find someone who could fix this without me hopping out with only an arm and a leg.

Thats a lot of work if the whole under carriage is like that. Pull up the carpet and see how bad the rust is. if its only surface(which I doubt) hit it with a wire wheel and bedline the bottom. Now if its real cancer it can be relatively dangerous to drive.

I crawled under today and other than my rockers being a bit corroded. Passenger side quite a bit. It looked pretty sound. Wont know the till I tear the carpet out. Would it be a good idea to get rid of most of if not all of it. And then spray on a liner of sorts?

The only right way to do it is get rid of the rust completely then replace with good metal. Then you would coat it.

If you dont get rid of it all, it has potential to spread to the new metal

Oh yeah sorry for not clarifying. I meant the carpet. Would I be better off removing the whole carpet and lining the whole inside?
