laws on doorless xj
So ive read the laws and states that you need atleast driver side mirror to be able to go doorless ..but also heard ppl getting pulled over because there is no roll cage ..anyone know if this is true?
Having a driver side mirror is a law in almost every state. Some states make you run tube doors some don't care.Look up your state laws see what you can and can't do.As far as a roll cage some states they are illegal also. Some states have laws about welding or doing any mods to the frame which would cover a lot of things from a roll cage to adding air bags.Me honestly i wouldn't have a roll cage in a daily driver or drive it with out the doors on it.

In some states you need at least four inches from the floor to the top of the sill. That is why Wranglers can go doorless legally and most other vehicles can't.
look up local law, call the local po, or risk getting in trouble.
