Painting my rig!
Please post up pics of your rigs painted Khaki or Desert so I can get some ideas. Which one should I go with?
And this will just be a cheap rattle-can job, so what brand? Krylon?

I love the khaki/desert colors... I have had plans to do that to my XJ for some time now, but havent gotten around to it.

 

I like the one you posted too. Paint it that color.

 

See here is what I'm torn about, I'm kinda worried that the "sand" color will
come out too orange:

The khaki looks like it will turn out almost too "white" in the spectrum.

I used Valspar exterior rattle can on mine, can't remember the exact color it was though.

what color interior do you have? I like the sand color more myself.

 

That's a photo of EricXJ's. He used Krylon's Camouflage in Ultra-flat Desert tan (Khaki).

I really like this finish and am probably gonna do my XJ using his write-up.

 

My interior is maroon, but I use black seatcovers.
