The 703 are not for NEWER XJ's but the 784 will fit just fine.

These threads always end up so confusing. Basically they are a direct swap, no modification needed. It improved my gas mileage by an average of 3mpg. Throttle response is also improved.

If you have 1991-1998 4.0L, you will need injector #0-280-155-703
If you have a 1999-2001 4.0L, you will need injector #0-280-155-784

yea, not to sure why people get all confused. the chart shows which injector(s) you can swap with and thats pretty much it. I see so many of these threads all asking what kind to use when the chart is posted all over, but yet noone asking about how to clean them and o-rings etc.

oh well, it is what it is.

Yes, excatly what GreenClassic said. I verified with him, before i purchased mine. However, i think i remember reading somewhere that they changed the injector plugs halfway through 98. So, there's a chance you'll need the 784, or possibly the 703. Take a picture of one of your injector plugs, and take it with you to the JY to be 100% sure.

I just opened mine up with a 9 volt battery and speaker wire, sprayed fuel injector cleaner through them, then soaked them all in a bowl of fuel injector cleaner overnight.

And they're a black injector... but so are the other injectors used on the 2.4's, and don't just check neons, check any mid to late 90's chrysler product with a 2.4 or 2.0 in it.

Hey guys well i couldnt find any of the 703 or 784 neon injectors anywhere. It was defenitly the resting place for neons and caravans but all injectors where gone as if all the jeep guys here in south FL already snagged em. But i did manage to get a set of ford #19 0280155710 Yellow stick. Good shape too. No clip nut but dont think that should be a problem once there in. Will i need to do anything, regulator etc. or should i be fine with the swap.

Cant put everything in yet since im working on my exhaust setup. True Dual hpipe with FM Super 44 mufflers. Heat coated exhaust manifold, waiting for heat wrap, to solve heat soak problems. Also coated intake manifold with high temp heat coating. fuel rail.
