Well, since times are tough right now and the Jeep needed new tires, I bought Hankook Kinergy ST H735 from Walmart for $68 each. They have good reviews for daily driving and that price was the best I could find. All together with taxes and delivery the 4 tires will be just under $300. I'll take them to a local place to be mounted and balanced for $20 each tire. So everything should be under $400 for new tires. Not bad, I think. I have been spending money on other parts lately (brakes, and steering) so I wanted to save some money in other places. I don't think I could have waited much longer for new tires as the ones I have on now are done, with lots of dry rot on the outside.
If I decide to get a wheel alignment (Jeep is pulling right a little bit, which I think is the tires) that will be another $109. I'll see about that. I would hate to spend that money just to check the toe. Yes, I know I could check it myself, but I don't trust my measurements.

I got the tires installed and aligned yesterday. The toe was out and they set them straight. I forgot to ask them to give me a little toe-in as many other threads have suggested. But the Jeep drives straight now so I am happy. I think the old tires were getting deformed which was causing the Jeep to pull right.
One mistake I made (laziness on my part) was not prepping properly the original rims that I had sitting in the backyard. I should have had the old tires dismounted, taken the rims back, wire brushed and painted. All I did was treat them with a rust reformer.
