Thanks all. If anyone is scared of heavy towing with an Xj don't be. My 99 towed it easily at 60 in 3rd and no sway at all. Used a single axle dolly.
I hope to have a new motor in it by Christmas.

 

I towed a honda civic on an all steel tandem axle car trailer with my MJ from so cal to bullhead city, AZ doing 75....+ all the way.... about 250+miles

stupid really, but I was young and dumb and was very lucky it didn't fish tail but this was the first time I ever pulled anything and didn't know better

 

Motor is out.

 

Looks nice I have a 95 Cherokee all stock 5 speed. Have fun
