Jeeping your paint job clean?
Mine's a DD as well and it is nice to have a clean, sharp looking XJ from time to time. Most trail/mud scratches aren't too bad so they can get fixed easily. I usually just go down to the quarter wash with a 5 gal bucket, soap and sponge. Spray it all down, do a quick hand wash, rinse it all off, towel dry it and then use ScratchX on any scratches I see. Once that's done a thing of MacGuire's Quick Wax spray and it shines until I go get it muddy again. Total time is about 2 hours, which really isn't too bad.

Yeah I have a black gloss jeep. Weeee was awesome, scratch free no blemishes at all when i got it. One fun offroad adventure changed that lol. Tight trails, branches, and rocks and mud. Looks like... Tigers clawed each side. No paint scratches, just clear coat, but very noticeable. VEry

you could always use those buffing solutions from the local auto store. they work on clear coat scratches and some even will help fill in paint scratches as well.
but for something that goes off road regularly, it might be a pain to keep putting money on buffing paste. but, i guess if it is a DD, and something you may use for work to take clients out with (if that's part of your job), having it look nice always helps. but in that case, that's why i want to save up some money and buy a 1986 Jaguar XJS. can you say V12? muahahaha...
