Around where I live, we dont so much as wave as point. When I am going down the road, especially if someone is riding with me, I will point to every XJ i see coming, and I see them point at me at the same time lol. It's just another XJ thing lol.

meh, i'm not a waver unless I know the other driver.
I used to LOVE the wave and REALLY confused look I would get from wrangler drivers when I had the scout w/ the top and doors off.

I usually innitiate the wave if thier rig is to the slightest degree modded .. usually get a wave back.... but any one that waves at me ill wave back too

I've only had 3 people wave at me: 2 I waved at, 1 waved at me(my neighbor). And yes I do wave back.
2 of of the 3 were lifted XJ's. One of them was at a stop signal across the highway.
But I always get looks especially now that I have the hood scoops on. It's almost like people have never seen a lifted XJ before! Maddening I tell you.
