this is as fast as ive gone with this jeep since i got it to this stage of the build

35's, 4.10's, rear coils

and it rode nice and smooth like this for about 2 hours

buried the needle past 85? lucky. i'm pushing it to get to 60, starts shaking like a dog crapping a peach seed. and doesnt wanna shift out. hovers at 2000rpm all the time, cept when starting it, jumps to 3000-3500.

 

nice man...i need to fix something on mine it will shoot up to 4000rpm on my 0-35 then drop down to 2000rpm and its all good werid. simple fix to do this is to take foot off throttle and then acclerrate again? wat is that?

 

NICE! I had Mine peg out the other day, little shakey around 75 but smoothed back on out my buddy riding next to me told me I hit 100. Wooo

 

got an awful look from some fool in a lifted f150. what the heck??

hey guys lets give another for farmerjohnson.
ran into him today and i got an extra roof rack bar (stock one of course) then a CAI home made lol and a tire the right size and 3" spring spacers. on my way to a lift kit

 

I rolled up to a 4 way today, and pulled out in front of a wrongler. lol. the face was epic. was the look of disgust, and as if they were better. yelled at em, "cherokees before wronglers".

where I work, there was a blue xj with what looked like a 3.5-4" ish lift with 32's. I left a note saying " I like you alot mr. Blue, from mis '96 and tan"
Then when I came out from work I got a note that said, "thank you. You look very nice as well but this parking lot ain't big enough for the 2 of us. Im Gunna get going to some bigger better stuff(grocery store)"

 

Fastest I could ever go was 86. it was buried a lot earlier since it's not calib. 4 my tires but my bud who I was pretty much drafting off of had his cruise at 86. That's with 33's though. I could prolly get passed 90-95 with my 31's even though the tire is rated for 85 max

 

I ran mine up to 84, on speedo, on 33's with stock gears and my speedo is off 10 at 55.

 

The xj starts to shake after 90-95... got to 100 but decided I should probably back it down....
And for legal reasons Ill say I was at a track..
