Jeep stuck in mud!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!
Have him drive forwards ,not in reverse. and if he has a receiver wrap it around that or do the hitch pin thing...
make sure to bring some 2x4's to get under the tires to get them up and out of the mud. Also try doing the hi lift thing to get rid of the suction.

yea i find that 2x4's help a lot but i have more success with taking the shovel and shoving it under the tire. it seems to catch better that way.

You better hope the Jeep is there when you return next day.
One thing you should know: if you're going to pull on the axle, try to make a straight pull instead of any type of off-center or sideways pull. If it's stuck bad enough, you could yank the forward most side of the axle right out from under the Jeep.

OK Don't know if you got it out or not but heres what I would recommend.
1. Hooking to the axle is your only option, so loop it around the axle
2. Pull straight
3. DO NOT ******, pull the strap tight and pull with slow steady pressure.
4. for a strap get get a 2 or 3 inch, 20-30 foot long and rated at least 20,000lbs
5. Pick up a Dring shackle to tie the ends of the straps together.
6. from the sound of the stuck its not that bad and the jeep will likely come right out

Damn! I usually don't think a winch is a necessity when wheeling with other Jeeps but that is one experience where a winch may of come in handy!

we had our buddy come down with his chevy with a 350 in it,14 inches on it
and 44 boggers he got buried. A zj with the 360 in it and a cj with a 10,000lb winch on it and nothing worked. we ended up getting the last jeep out with a come along and 2 2x4's
