Well, lets see, geo trackers, Samurai, hummer, any thing that is just to pretty, sometimes the new jeeps, and a few custom crazy city jeeps that has been lowered, low profile tires and other such non-sense.
real land rovers that are used for exploring, toyotas fj40's, and a few other trail customs that make rocks and trails cringe are as close to real things that I love to look at can't be considered imitators....

i want to talk about the jk, WTF the whole point of the wrangler is the short wheel base... right? well the jk f***s that up. the thing is longer then the cherokee or the commander. i personally think jeep is getting turned in to your grandma's grocercy getter. there might have some good hits for off roading but if i was to buy a new jeep for off road use the commander wouldnt cut it for me, it would be a wrangler. the jk looks like a damn hummer too

Got the Xj to be the winter ride, Mustang don't do so good in the snow, but now I find myself driving it more and more. Crap have not even had the '79 Bronco out in months. I'm neglecting my other children.

Why yes it has... and LR began as a full body being slapped on a left over Jeep drivetrain....
And technically Hummer began life as a product of Jeep. The original was a well into development when AMC sold off American General as part of the Renault buy-out

Funny thing. I didn't even know they made 2wd Jeep nor did I know they made anything other than the I6 engine/I6 HO for them until I started really wanting a Jeep and looking around at different ones.
It didnt really shock me that there were other engines but finding out they made a 2wd model kind of surprised me.

Yeah, I am quickly finding out why people are obsessed with Jeeps. I have driven a variety of vehicles over the years, mainly because of need over want. I drove what I could afford at the time. Well aside from the one time I went to a dealer and got my Dodge Intrepid for like 12k. I couldn't really afford that and it broke about a month after the warranty ran out then I quit paying for it and it got repod lol.
Anyway I am really loving owning a Jeep and can understand now why people are so into them. Hopefully from here on in everything will be a Jeep for me.
Personally I use to like a LOT of different "SUV's" Blazer, Tahoe, even kind of liked the Isuzu Trooper......Then I sat in my Jeep....and I feel like there is nothing else needed in the SUV world lol.
It's not too big, not too small has enough features but not too many. Looks good on and off road.
