one of my good friends told his dad about it, and his dad said what he woulda done is "taken out all his spark plugs, then pissed down his gas tank, then left him there with no spark plugs"....lol

and i believe he would do that too...

 

My best xj story happened mother's day 08. After seeing my mom and grandma for breakfast i decided to do some light wheeling real quick. It's like 11am. I was alone so I didn't want to get stuck. So I go to my usual spot about 5 miles from town, confident i'll be ok.
I get a flat and find out my step-dad who I got the jeep from had put two dif. size lug nuts on. I only had a socket for one. So I call a buddy with a 54 ****** I helped him build, to bring me a socket. But when he gets out there his distributor cap breaks. I put my spare on and it blows out in 20ft. Now were both stuck out there with no water, and it's 110 out.
So we call his brother with a lifted 70 Chevy and a trailer. But he was sixteen and didn't know what he was doing and broke his steering in a canyon sizes for dirtbikes. So all three of us +1 trailer are broken and it's only 1:30.
So now we walked back to town and I had my girl pick us up with her 2wd 250. We go to wal-mart cuz it's sunday and I need a tire. Tire departments closed but they let me buy a tire not mounted.
I was able to mount it on my wheel I had to lug with me and was finally ready to go get my jeep. It's now like 9pm. I dive my gf 250 out there like half way. We mount the tire and my Jeeps fine. I draged my friends chevy and trailer out of that canyon. It was difficult because his steering was stuck to the right. We trailered that truck back with the 250 and while I got my friends ****** out. By the time we got home it was 2am.

 

You should just swap the gauge cluster & sending units. then you will have all that stuff & a tach too!
