Okay so my jeep has been having some trouble. it is a Cherokee lardeo with a 4in lift and has been having some (I believe) electrical issues. it has been shorting out. as if two open wires were touching. It happens when i put it into drive. and recently in park(its an automatic transmission). But when its in reverse and nuetral its 100% fine. short being - the whole engine shorts out. as if its losing power and regaining but at the same time at a very quick pace. and whenever i push on the gas it will go for a split second and then cut out. has anybody ever experienced anything like this before? if so can you let me know. please. if you have an idea of what im talking about ask questions. i really need to figure this out.

 

See if your transmission to engine bolts aren't loose.

Check the routing of your CPS wires to be sure they're not touching the exhaust manifold.
