My passenger door is shut closed on my 92 xj. It locks and unlocks but when I go to pull the handle the doors does not budge. Anyone with a similar situation?

 

Either your mechanism is jammed due to crud or something jammed in the mechanism or a rod has disconnected. Anyway, you'll have to get the inner door panel off to access the guts and open the door from inside to find the issue. It's not real easy with the door closed, but it can be done with some patience. I've done it several times and have to do it to the back doors of the wife's '97 soon as the weather straightens out some.

Often, the locking mechanism gets full of crud and jams. Once the door is opened, clean it out real well with brake parts cleaner spray and relube it after.
