I commute in mine every other week. 600 mi / week and it is my "go to" for all my other driving. However with the amount of money that is about to go into it that is likely coming to an end. Will prob grab a cheapo 4 banger of some sort for a work car here soon. We have also been shopping for a YJ/TJ again so might even sell my fullsize PU. The XJ will become my main hunting rig and the Wrangler the scoot around town / lake rig.

In dry warm weather, if i don't drive mine at least a couples time a week i get more irritable than usual.
I already put 30k+ miles on the new engine.
70k more miles and then engine warranty runs out.
In the Winter it rests, need no more road salt corrosion.
Is like once or twice a month and only when the roads are dry.

Having a little one, I don't really get out too much. Mostly spend a lot of time at home when not at work. When I'm at work, I'm driving my service van that I take home each night. If the wife, the baby and I go somewhere we usually take our Mazda, just because it's easier to get him in and out of it.
But if the wife and I are on a date heading to the movies or something. We take the Jeep. Or if I go to lowes or run my own errands by myself. I take the Jeep as well.

yep, I'm the same way in winter. I get made fun of by some of my people at my work. "dude it's a Jeep". I'm like, I know but I want it around for a long time.
