Has anyone ever gotten the Iron Rock Offroad DIY rear bumper for the XJ?

Pretty sure that is the same as the dirt bound off road DIY bumper.

Doesn't look like it to me. If you look at the pictures of the parts laid out it's different. Plus you don't need to fold IROs. It's bolt on slightly, slide the bumper on, tack it in place, take off Jeep and then weld everything on.

My bad. I know IRO carries the DBO Mojave front, for some reason I was thinking the rear came from there too. BTW both are great companies to deal with.

I'm very familiar with IRO. The majority of my lift is all IRO, and the front bumper I'm getting is going to be dirtbound.

When it says cut and fold rear bumper, does it mean its for a jeep with the quarter panels cut and folded?

Yes and no. A lot of DIY bumpers are already cut and you just need to "fold" them to take shape and then weld. The one this thread is about you simply weld together.

But there are bumpers that are meant for a jeep thats been cut and folded.

No, post 9 says it's for a cut and folded jeep and I called after I posted and it's for a jeep that has the quarter panels cut and folded.

which sucks because I actually liked the look of this bumper but my quarter panels are still in tact haha

You called IRO? I don't see the pieces in the picture that would go towards the wheel wells.

Either way if it is like that then it works even better for me.

So i messaged IRO the day before and I found out it does indeed mount where the hitch bolts to.

I'm not sure if my nut strips will work with it still, plus I have an OEM skidplate and a hitch which is bolted there already.
