Guys,
I have seen plenty of posts about interior lighting, changing to LEDs and electrical issues, but I am interested to know what people have done to add additional lighting inside the XJ. My XJ has no lighting in the roof other than the dome light. I would like to add something to the cargo area (either new or something clever from JY) but have not seen much of that here.

Any suggestions or idea's you have done would be a great help.

There have been a number of guys on here that have talked about running the LED rope's along the trim above the doors. I think that would look really neat to see that.

 

check out superbrightleds.com there are all kinds to suite your taste and size for where you want to mount them and they are cheap. i put 2 in cargo bay up on the plastic trim and they work great.

 

I remember seeing one Guy who mounted one or two cheap light up in the corners and put a switch back there so you could open the gate a flip the switch for light.

 

the ones i picked up are about 1 in by 2 in and wired inline with dome light for now. and i think they were around 4.50 each.
