Hey everyone,
I'm trying to help a friend of mine find a Cherokee (he's been bitten by the bug) Here is a link to one that we came across, and I wanted to see what you all thought.
price?
what to look for on an older model?
Any common issues? (ie. the head gasket issue on certain casting numbers of the '01 Cherokee)

Man thats a hanous link.... :-)
Thanks

2k seams a little expensive in my opinion, but not bad. from the pics it looks to be in pretty good condition. things to look out for...
- rust along rocker panel and bottom of doors is common
- front end looks a little dinged up, just make sure it hasn't bent or twisted anything important
- go over the wiring, the more you check the better. custom wiring in an old cherokee is fine if you know what it is, but if you dont and there is a bunch of extra stuff in there you will loose your mind in the first year.

Thanks for the input .
He doesn't want to spend more then 2k on one. I'm sure once I go up there with him to look at it and if it checks out ok, we should be able to talk the guy down to 1200-1300

Nothing major but I noticed in ad says driver and pass. airbags which it would not have. The interior looks clean that's nice for a daily driver.
