I'm new to the Cherokee world
Hi,
I just bought a Cherokee (98 luxury model) and wanted to know how expensive it was to fix the passenger electric window which isn't working. Also how do you use the 4x4 feature??
Is there anything I should look out for?
Also my radiator light on the screen is flashing :/

the passenger window could be easy if its just something simple and the radiator light well, im not to sure cuz i know most cherokee's have the check engine light on because of bad O2 sensor so i could be like that or just the radiator,
4x4 feature, u hold onto the brake then slide the 4wd lever into either 4hi or 4low?
if the cherokee is messed up stick the transmission in neutral?

For the window, First thing I would do: Take the door apart to check to see if you power to the switch. Coming in, and going thru the switch when actuated. (use a volt meter) The window switches are known to fail, And the wires to break inside the rubber sleeve/boot between the door and body. Especially the drivers side. So check that side also. While the doors are apart. It's a good time to replace the plastic linkage clips on the door handle connecting rod. There cheap and sold at any auto parts store. Also good time to replace those crappy factory speakers in the doors. If you have them.

You could always go to the junkyard and pick up and extra door that way you have one spare of anything in case something goes wrong. I just went to the junkyard Saturday and paid $90 for a set of 2 doors.

Sure, if your wife/mother/girlfriend does not mind having a bunch of "extra" Jeep parts sitting around the flowerbeds and on the patio table.
