Default im going flareless , pros and cons ?

i been thinking of putting tj flares on cause i have a set for free , but i keep catching my stock ones on branches on the tight trails , and the other night i ripped one off and it mangled it, and im actually liking the look of no flares at all , whats everyone opinions on fender flares ?

i dont run them because i have the same problem.. if u wheel a lot then i would say dont run them.. i replaced several and finally decided to go flareless.. i havent been bothered by the cops yet and ive been flareless for about a year and a half.. i dont drive it much tho just to and from wheeling.. i was thinking of plating my fenders rear quarters and fabing some metal flares but im just gonna wait till i get a fix it ticket.. so i guess if you daily drive it i would probably run flares but if its mostly for wheeing i wouldnt bother.

I wheel the hell out of my Jeep. I dont need to drive it everyday anymore. But i still like the jeep to be clean when im cruising around town. Flareless its hard to keep the jeep clean-but worth it. Then you get looking at the flareless fender and out comes the cutoff wheel to make em a little bigger.

I chopeed mine off cause I was rubbing horribly when I put the new tires on. I like the look alot better but I have to wash the jeep allot more often now. A friend out here did tj flares and they didnt look that good to me. But thats just my 2 cents.

I cut at the flare line. Works for me.

Cut the inside pinch seam up front too inside the fenderwell.
