Default Ideas for 90 XJ

Ok so I have a 90 XJ and have a few questions. First off I have a few cosmetic issues I would like to fix. The Jeep has some painted areas with grey spots that look like a mildew or mold very visible around the (gas flap look in the first photo and was wondering how to get that off without repainting) Also the rims need to be painted and was wondering if anyone has done these rims and if so please post pics.

Ok next off is a lift I want to do a two inch BB pending parental approval I give it maybe a 40% chance of actually being allowed to do it. Most of the time I just do stuff like that and ask for forgiveness BUT that is kind of a big thing. Also post pics of your XJ with similiar mods.

More pics

Its a 90 Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Automatic with 232K

Anyone with anymore ideas. It is a DD and I am in High School so the cheaper the better.

I own a 1991 limited, That I'm restoring (Keeping stock as much as possible.) I did replace the head & Fog lights. With H4 HID (Hyper white 5000k) Makes a big difference. Replace the headliner & overhead console, (they all sag) with org. color material. Replaced factory stereo, with Pioneer head unit. Rockford-fosgate speakers in the doors, rear hatch, and 10" sub in the rear pass. pocket. (carpeted to match the floor color) 1400 watt. 5-channel amp. under the rear seat. All look factory done. Looks & Sounds good. The rims, I'm doing now. I took them off, getting them sandblasted. Gets rid of dis-coloring, and pits etc. then I'll buff the machined top flat surfaces back to a shine. Then shoot a couple coats of clear on them. Seen it done before, And they look new. In spring I'm getting it repainted (mines silver, that's one of the fastest paints to fade out.) Now, all vehicles sag over time. (If you where to compare yours to the factory specs. You see that it has too.) I myself plan on replacing the coils & leafs. With a 2.5" OLD MAN EMU suspension system. That will give me about 1.5" over org. factory ride hgt. (And still look stock) OMU's are the best riding susp. on the market. (Come with leafs, coils, shocks, steering stabilizer, 1" tc drop kit. All matched for ride, and off road performance) All things that I would have to replace, just because of the age, anyways. Should I ever want to lift it any more (yrs. down the road) Just have to use 2" spacers, and shackles. (And still retain the ride) That would make it 4.5" of lift. For the big meats. Well that's my plans. (There's pics of mine in photo album)............JMO Good luck to you.

I have actually already redone all of the interior and the head and speakers. Looks great now. the only thing is that the seats need to be cleaned but I will get to that later. Also the door panels are SUPER EASY to clean. Laundry soap water and a soft scrub brush, dry with a hair dryer and they look great. In the pics I have only cleaned the Drivers side so far.
