Default I want to punch my 90 right in the rear hole!!!

Finished putting her all back together from a head gasket job. Cranked her up and she was spewing gas all out of the fuel rail pressure thing. I reckon she decided to bust her seal for some reason. Also I have a brand new thermostat and pump and it seems like the coolant is just sitting in the reservoir not doing jack. Its running and all of my hoses are soft and squeezable. She's a 90 4.0 with the stock closed radiator system. Any ideas fellas? That's a ton of work for more heartache. I swear if she wasn't metal I would knock the grease build up off her block.

So, did you fix the fuel leak?

I only use the Napa 703-1396 caps on the closed systems.

Perhaps you have an air bubbles in the cooling system and it coulda worked out overnight.

How did you refill your coolant? I found the best way is to remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator, hold it up as high as I can and fill it there untill fluid starts to flow out of the radiator. This helps to purge excess air out of the system easier.

Just wanted to thank you fellas. I got her running great. Replaced the o-ring in the fuel rail and that worked like a charm. Replaced the reservoir cap wiyh the Napa Cap. Filled her up from the top radiator hose, connected the hose back, opened the cap and pushed on that hose as hard and fast as I could and a huge bubble and gasp of air came out and the coolant dropped down. Drove her for about 30 minutes and the temperature gauge is sitting pretty in the middle. Thanks for all of your help and experience.
