Alrighty, like an hour ago i was at my buddies house and we got bored and i was like Hey, betcha my jeep can outrun ur focus! (2005 Ford Focus)

So we ended up racing Rofl! 1st run was at 30 mph an hour and we were dead even till i hit top gear and he got in front!

2nd Go was at like 50 mph dead even till top gear again and he pulls away
3rd Gear We Start from 0! This is where i got the advantage haha, i Spun tires though and pulled ahead like 3-4 car links Rofl and i won


Any of you guys have any stories like this?

His Ford Focus has 170 Hp, i think my Jeep at almost double weight held up its side pretty well.

 

did this once through town against my buddy in his grand cherokee he had about 3 or 4 car lengths i still beat him by like 10 car lengths

 

i bet a 2wd chevy s10 with the 4.3 and a few simple add-ons,i beat him by about a car link on a closed dirt road

 

i think my jeep has alot of acceleration its quick off the line lol, But i have beat a Chevy Blazer with a 4.3 Vortech i think thats right, iv also been blown away by a 80's model truck with a 350 lol i was just messing around their i knew i wouldnt win

 

I raced a ferrari and obviously lost

 

i do stuff like that too lmao, where i live we have a car show every month and i live right in the middle of town so im around alot of action, dont let that fool you though my jeep does see alot of mud lol, matter of fact last time i went mudding i busted out the window of my hatch and couldnt replace it because where the hatch had been hit it would be hard to fit a window into it right, so i had to pay 500.00 for a 2001 jeep cherokee hatch

 

i raced a Mercedes amg lol i got blown away but i just wanted to watch him redline it lol,and here the motor roar by me lol but i usually tell ppl that he ran scared,ppl run faster when they are scared lol

 

heres a good one, alright so i was on my way to advance auto and their was this mustang which looked like a v6 mustang at first so i tryed to mess around with it, not until it took off i saw the badges on it Say "ROUSH" and i heard it scream past me lol, some blonde headed girl was driving it

 

Oh I do that all the time. If I'm at a stop light and there a cool car beside me that I just want to see haul some *** ill give him a few revs and floor it and see what he does lol.

 

A good friend of mine died in a car accident....a brother and sister were "racing" each other and the guy wrecked into my friend. Just saying....

thats y i only race on closed roads but there is still a risk just as not as much of a risk i reckon

 

I've been neck and neck with an E36 M3 up until about 45. You gotta remember when the H.O. came out it was the fastest in it's class, and everyone in the know knew they were quick.

 

You can't always see what's going to happen in any given situation but you can do something to avoid a terrible one. Be safe and race on a legal track. No sense in putting other people's lives in danger. (sorry, don't mean to sound like your parents)
