I'm currently in the same boat as well. I've been looking for a half decent looking pair for a half decent price! I have just been doing random Google searches for knock-off XJ parts and you'll be surprised what you come across. Check these out

AJ's are pretty popular. I have the super rails and have been very happy with them. I have pounded on them pretty hard and have no complaints. Rails with pinch seam support like these are a pretty decent option for getting a reasonably solid mount. They can still fail if you beat them hard enough, but they are more than enough for your average rock pounding
