My Cherokee has taken me thousands of miles, through good weather and bad, highway and trail. I'm gonna miss it. On Saturday, I was driving down a 4-lane road when some bonehead decides to pull out from my right, and go the opposite way. T-boned him, doing about 40mph. I left the scene on a backboard, and didn't get to see the car until today. Wow.
This was it in great shape, right after a bath:

And here it sits today:

Here's the guy I hit:

Ouch.

Me? I'm sore. Got released with a lumbar sprain and a thoracic strain, some meds, and instructions to do nothing but rest for about 5 days. I'm not looking forward to shopping for a new car, although I do have my eye on a nice MJ.

Glad you're doing as well as you are. Good thing you were wearing your belt, (just guessing by the wind-shield). You never know when it's going to happen to you.

The other guy, and his passenger, seemed fine. I believe that he refused treatment, his passenger rode to the ER though. For me the wreck was just a sudden and violent stop. They got turned quickly 90* to the right, that twisting is never good.
As for fault percentages, I've never heard of such a thing.
The other driver was cited for failure to yield right of way, he admitted fault.
