Has anyone done a locking hub conversion on a D30? If so what hubs did you use and where did you get them?

Only way I've seen it done is with a kit, Warn, MileMarker or Reid Racing knuckles. Either way you are looking at over a grand. Prob be better off just getting an axle with locking hubs to start with unless you really love the 30.

I've searched this before and never found this kit. I've got a Currie 9" in my drag car and it has been bullet proof for 15 years now. Not cheap, but it should be good quality.

Way too much money for the conversion, it would take 20 years to pay for its self in fuel cost savings.

I've done the search and the one I was looking at was the EMS Offroad kit.If I were going to send the money to build a 30 i would buy this kit in a heartbeat.

I am sorry for bringing back up a dead thread. My currie axle has the kit linked above. I have broken a stub shaft. Anyone have any idea of a part number for a stub?
