How much is my cherokee worth?
I am trying to find an accurate value for my car and I am seeing a wide range of prices on NADA and other sites, so I'm a bit confused.
It is a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer, 4D, 4WD manual transmission, 77,000 miles, original owners, no rust, only driven in summers and stored indoors in winter. Excellent original interior (cloth not leather), Body in excellent shape though it needs a paint job.

The mileage and condition sound like a winner to me, but how bad is the paint? Post some pics. Inside and out. Under the hood and the undercarriage. I know you said no rust, etc., but pics can make all the difference in the world.

Cherokee prices are highly dependent on geography. That would be probably a $6-8k cherokee down here depending on pictures. Maybe even $10k.
You mention storing it during winter so I assume you're up in the hinterlands somewhere, so you'd get significantly less up there.

Grab the popcorn. You will get a lot of opinions.
I'll take a stab though. Depending on location that is probably $6-8k for someone that knows what they are looking at. For someone who just wants "a Jeep", probably less.
(I had typed my response a couple of hours ago, but got interrupted before I could post, funny to see that wizardpc and I came up with the same guess and same reasoning, typed out almost exactly the same way).

Good quality Cherokees are becoming so rare in the Northeast (heavy salt region) that I wouldn't be surprised to see them start hitting 10k within the next 2 years. I mean the unicorns of course...low mileage, very little rust, well cared for, etc.

Not mine, but do you all think this is worth the asking price? Thinking about making an offer. The truck is literally immaculate. Thoughts?
