I would check Craigslist in your area too, Ebay is typically pretty high. It being a stick I would think would make it worth a little more because of their rarity

If someone pays 8 grand for any XJ that's not sitting on 10 grand worth of axles have lost their mind.

Not necessarily...id pay 8 for a clean low mileage, lifted, locked, caged, stroked, mint one...maybe. .but 8k for a stock one.. crazy indeed

I paid $5k for mine in perfect condition with a stack of maintenance records, just under 100k. This was like 6 years ago though.
