Sitting right around 275,XXX, motor will be replaced soon due to horrible knocking! Still runs great though with the knock that you can hear from 1 mile away lol

 

Mine is a 98xj with 212000, runs like a top. Just had heater core and evaporator replaced, got AC again.

 

Mine's in metric. Does that count? It's a 1989 Limited with 151,450 km / 94,100 mi. on it. It runs great and, being old, it will probably out last me.

 

As of yesterday it's 10K shy of 200K.

 

'93 (with the 4.0 of course) and it has 98k miles. Just got it recently, upgrades are in the works as it's bone stock- kinda rare for these things

 

So, whats up with the knocking?I have a 96 XJ with a 4.0 and 290,000 miles, and it knocks so loud that it alarms most people. I've been warned more than a few time that I have about 100 miles left before it throws a rod. It's been going on for at least 90,000 miles. I'm not a car person, so I have no clue what it is other than that it's just something that particular engine does.
