Hey, I was just wondering what kind of miles people have on their rides; Specifically 4.0's. I have a 2001 with almost 169K. As far as I know, the only repairs that it has had done was a water pump and a timing chain. So come on guys, lets hear how many miles your 4.0's got.

I've got a 1993 with 219,000 miles on it.
I got it last April with 190,000 miles on it. First things I did was replace the fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing (which was a joy to get off, let me tell you... the one that was on there had cracked and someone had JB welded it back together). Also replaced the idler pulley, and I put in a new alternator last month... and I'm about the remove and clean the throttle body this weekend. Otherwise, nothing except semi-regular oil changes (I admit, I'm terrible in keeping up with the oil changes).

The original injectors have been cleaned with new o-rings, regular maintenance was kept up with. The guy I bought it from was a mechanic. He kept a log book of all the maintenance with mileage/ repairs done and date completed. It feels like a normal jeep to me but I have nothing to compare it to. I bought it completely stock about 2 months ago.Originally Posted by cbush314
