I have an 01 that was painted Amber Fire Pearlcoat from the factory. I have never seen another one around here in MI, and I just wondered if anybody had the stats on how many they made?

I'm not one for orange but they make it look pretty sweet. Was yours more expensive than others?

 

I have only seen them online, but never in person. Do you plan to paint your jeep orange? I prefer a purple jeep

From what I understand, the Amber Fire Pearl Coat was offered for the last 6 months of the 2001 Jeep Cherokee production. The color originated on the Dodge Dakota for 2000, which I had one. VERY RARE color especially on the Jeeps. I would take care of your Jeep and DON'T drive in the snow to keep it from rusting. The pictures are of the 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport I purchased brand new in 10/2000. It was equipped with the 4.7 V-8 with a 5-spd trans, Sport package, which included bucket seat. One of less than 100 made. I regret selling this vehicle. Also SUPER RARE!
