there is no bolt on or forced induction that is worth the money IMHO. LSx swaps are getting cheaper by the day. $1500-$2k can get you a 5.3/6.0 and tranny into your jeep.

K&N filter, Monster stickers, stick on hood vents, chrome exhaust tip, smoked lights, angry eyes, HIDs, 22" rockstar wheels, chrome everything. All of the horsepower and you'll roll knee deep in *****es.

While XJ's are no slouch, I highly doubt that an XJ will run 135mph.
I do, however, KNOW that a 4.0/aw4 XJ will run dead nuts even with a Grand Prix GTP from about 30-65/70.
XJ's aren't meant to go fast though. They handle like a bread truck. If you want a fast SUV, look into a 5.0 Explorer to build up, or even a s10 blazer and swap in a v8

yea, ok. pre-97 5 spd XJs on stock tires are QUICK. and RX8s arent speed machines out of the box but that is 100% horse****. the limiter on pre 97s is in the low 120s.. i know bc i've hit it on a looooooooooooong empty downhill somewhere in the middle of nowhere texas.
