Default Homemade snorkle

Here I'm using 4" pipe that will be welded permanently to the fender and windshield cowl. I'm using flexible pipe on top so it has some give when it hits branches and stuff so it will never break.
Right now I'm just mocking it up with bungees and it looks pretty darn good.
You can see with the yellow tape this is how I'm gonna cut the hole for entry of the pipe.
I'm thinking by welding it straight to the body it will help with the structure of the unibody greatly.

Thoughts?

It wont. At all.

Not a big fan of the home made snorkels off the side, i prefer the cowl induction ones but looks good. You're on the right track.

Are you going to utilize the stock air box or do an in line?
