Default Homemade Cubby Box

I just wanted to say THANKS for such a great forum! I've learned alot from reading the post. I thought I would share my latest project with yall. It's a Cubby Hole subwoofer box. I used some idea's from here along with some of my own. The Cherokee is a 1998 Grand Cherokee with the upgraded sound system. I took the interior pannel off and with a keyhole saw, cut the cubby out. I then used the cubby cutout with some cardboard to make the size I wanted. Useing resin and fiber glass made a mold. Then attached a front MDF pannel to the fiberglass. Inside it is filled with fiberfill from local big mart. Sounds great with only 200 watts going to sub.

I hate how much space my sub box takes up. Your doesn't take very much space at all, good idea. By the way, welcome to CF.

Reminds me of the one they have offered on ebay - but I am sure yours was a lot cheaper! This one is for the 93-98 Grand cherokee and is like $199. ( no sub included)

Nice job!

Would anyone be interested? I think there are one or two other guys on here that offer a cubby. But if there where interest in my box I would really think about it.
