I'm sure you would have taken me on that ramp zach, but it out flexed at least 1 long arm ZJ, 1 long arm MJ, & quite a few XJs not sure if they were long armed or not!

No man thats some sick flex, especially for short arms! i wasnt meanin to say i could out flex you-i was just saying long arms are better in almost every way. If your rig is flexin that well on short arms, i cant wait to see what you do with it on long arms
But props on beating the LA ZJ, your cherokee showed em what is up!

Oh I knew what you meant! I was just saying that people tend to jump into LAs, cause its the cool thing to do, instead of just getting quality short arms, & some well set up leafs... I don't see myself going to long arms any time to soon after that ramp test!

I give a lot of credit to the ballistic style joints on my RE short arms, but a lot of it is having a good (not great) shackle angle, & flexy leafs!

Yeah, flexy leafs definitely. With the crappy shackle angle and stiffness of xj leafs, short or long arm doesnt make much of a difference for an RTI because it's driven by our bad leaf setups. IMO RTI is driven by how much tire stuff you get, balance, and rear flex.

I'm hearing alot of good things about how cheap and available the Chevy 1500 lines are. 96_XJ has put in some time finding all the part numbers and prices. He's posted it quite a few times.

Ya I mention the f150 set up cause the JY didn't have a 1500 when looking for a friends... I run procomp braided lines (dont remember the length), & love them! Even at full flex they still have plenty of slack in them!
