That little plastic filler can be pulled out pretty easily with some needle nose pliers. It has 4 tabs that hold it in.

I finally got mine all finished up. 650 lights, candy cane antenna, antlers and a big red nose on the front. And this is on my dd so its not just for show. I drive this everywhere and wheel it like this too.

Are town council called us and wanted to see if Santa could ride in are Toy's for Tot's train this year, we told them if the big man needed a ride we'd build him something. So we built him a sled and let the kids ride the train...LOL

I used to use suction cups for it but now the xj is too beat and scratched for those to stick so I used hot glue. No worries. I tested it first to make sure it'll come back off.
