I beg to differ. The driver is a big factor as well.

You must have had a late night. You posted this at 4:32am. Haha

Again, tires and driver have a LOT more to do with it than just driving around in 4wd vs 2wd.

As I've picked up experience over the last 5+ years, I've began doing a LOT more things in 2wd that I would have once done in 4Lo with *** cheeks clenched and white knuckling the steering wheel.

We all start somewhere, and if your cousin learns what he did wrong that got him stuck, perhaps he can avoid that in the future.

lol im just surprised i pulled him out. he was off camber in a rut and both axles were buried in the ground. Took a while but i got him out. Took a min. for the diff to lock but when it did.. it jerked him right the hell out lol. I'd say the majority of it was because his A/T's are a little closer to a road tire than usual. And i've got them ol knobbys ya know

I've got a 2wd with BFG ATs (3" and 31s as well), but that's because I know i'll never...EVER have to even touch mud. I've heard how badly they perform, and the treads just got clogged real quick. The worst thing I have to deal with is light snow, if any, and i've heard the BFG ATs rule in snow.

Glad to see another 2wd doing some work though!

I can vouch this, this guy drove in 2wd in his tj on 30 x9.50 half bald bfg at ko's thru the trail at jeepfest with over 8'' of straight mud and muck on it, without any issues.

awe back when your jeep was a baby, the memorys.

Not locked, but i've seemed to have learned how to temporarily lock a Open DIff. And this is 4wd with limited slip in the back vs 2wd open diff... Yeah get some
