I needed a hitch for my 93 sport,and I wanted some recovery points.So I ordered from smittybilt.Part #S/B76850.

The Brown Truck of Happiness dropped it off!
Had to take off the stock crap first.

wow no rust here!
put in nut strips,i had to bend em just a little,4 inches from the inner most end to make em sit right.

 

Mounted brackets.

 

You either reuse the 8 bolts from the stock mounts or get new ones,i used my old ones.

extra hands are a must to hang this thing,and small hands and socket wrench with a long handle,the top 2 bolts are a bi%*#.
My 14 yeard old daughter did an awesome job!

 

In the end I have a sweet bumper



Now to fleetfarm for D rings.

Do the lower part of the brackets mount to the old hitch holes/nut strips? Would be a nice way to tie everything together.

The lower part mounts through 3 holes in the unibody to the nutstrips,btw all hardware is included except the 8 oem mount bolts.
