......any research would tell you its the most common offroad jack because it does the job. Not always the safest option but sometimes its the only option.

Honestly haven't used one in years. Used to use one with my '78 Buick Skylark, of all things... but now I carry around a floor jack and two bottle jacks. Though I hear a lot of people love the hi-lift, and it makes me kind of want one.

X2, I have a highlift under my back seat, I can tell you that when I get an extra $250 I will be replacing it with a ARB Exhaust Jack

One of those things that you might never need, but will regret not having when you need it most!

A Hi-Lift is definitely towards the top on my list f things to buy, can be used as a lift, and a come along/"winch" (unlike floor jacks, bottle jacks and exhaust jacks)if you have chains and get in a bad situation

Like them so much I have 2, 4' and 5'. Use them all the time. Handle works great to sleeve a stock tie rod when you bend one too.

I like mine so far and just keep on thinking of all what it can be used for! According to my friends its a complete waist of money but when hes got a flat and his regular jack won't reach I am just going to be laughing.

I have Hi-Lift's in both my XJ and my Power Wagon and have hardly ever used them. IF I can use it, I use my bottle jack but when I NEED the Hi-Lift, I have it. I can jack with it, use it as a come-a-long, a clamp or a spreader. I have had a vehicle slide sideways more than once when using it but I don't like going to the woods without it.
